It is recommended that gymnasts at this level register for one class per week. Are you a Photographer that wants to take your images to the next level; or maybe someone that is just getting started in photography?
We will cover some compositional basics that will surely improve your images if you are not using them; and we will discuss concepts of building your Photographic Vision to take your images from good to great! The gym will be set up for large motor use and play. Must register online to attend. Registration closes the Thursday before each event. Ceramics Studio. Give yourself the gift of creative fun, join the Ceramics Studio class! Throwing on the wheel, hand building, clay extruding and use of drape molds are all possibilities in this open studio class.
Instruction will be available for those who want to learn something new, while those who are comfortable with working with clay can focus on creating their own unique artwork.
All levels of potters are welcome. We will be using low fire or mid fire clay and glazes. Cost includes 25lbs of clay and glazes for projects made from this clay. Tools will be available to use by participants but are not part of the class fee tools must stay in the classroom. It gives 11 - year-old boys and girls everything they need to know, from getting started, to dealing with parents and children, to key safety, caregiving, and first aid tips.
Want to learn to crochet? Crochet Club is for students grades 3 — 8. We will learn the basics of crochet and make a cowl and pom bunny. Those with previous crochet experience can learn a new stitch while making the cowl. We will also make a small hand-sewn project of your choice animal, pillow, coaster, etc.
Sewing is an essential skill not only in crochet, but in life! No experience necessary. Supplies included!
Bring a nut-free snack to class. Program Prerequisites: Participants must be able to follow two-step instructions, communicate with peers and instructors, and work independently or with a group.
