Last Revised: The install Acrobat DC. Do you want to replace the PDF? Pick one of your PDF files and right-click or Ctrl-click on the file. From the menu that comes up, select "Get Info".
On the new dialog that pops up, go to the "Open with:" section and select Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader and then click on the "Change All Thanks to all for your help.
I have previously tried all those things, but to no avail. It is possible that the icon file is corrupt and the operating system cannot pick up the correct image. I assume you have already done that, but just in case: Have you tried to re-install Acrobat? How satisfied are you with this reply?

I think the 3rd one. Now they're all the white one 2nd. I had seen that white one from time to time in the past. I didn't like it as much. I never could figure out why it was different. I agree this change happened recently.
On win10, win8. I just checked a win7 system, which I hadn't booted for some while. The win8. I don't know. What does the difference signify?
