Since it's a sound, and not a data CD, I won't worry about the errors. A verification error is simply Nero saying "I wrote this, but the disc contains this, which is not equal to what I wrote".

It's usually a writer or media problem. Audio is remarkably fault tolerant but if you have verification errors, you do not have a lossless copy.

CD-Rs are more work to read for the laser electronics. Best way to burn. Just tried to 'write' a CD simulation mode using the ape plugin. It could reach up to 16x speed without getting an empty read buffer after a while. This was with ape files of high compression, and a MHz Athlon. Not that I would ever burn an audio CD that fast Nero version must at least be 5.
